Reader’s Theatre “Katrina: the K Word”

“Katrina: the K Word”
relating the devastation of natural disasters to a U.S. context
Taylor University Theatre Department Reader’s Theatre

Every person who was affected by Hurricane Katrina has his or her own version of what happened in New Orleans in 2005. The Advanced Performing Literature Class will bring you twelve stories based on interviews conducted with New Orleans residents. While we may not agree with every comment nor do we present every claim as fact, we will stay true to the opinions expressed and to the spirit of the amazing people who survived this crisis and who feel that what happened in New Orleans deserves our attention.

Performances will be Thursday, December 10 and Saturday, December 12 at 8:00 p.m. in the Mitchell Theatre

Complimentary tickets are available in the Theatre Office.
